This model is a tribute to the innocent people who
lost their lives in New York on September 11th 2001 and to all the rescue
services and those who helped in whatever way they could.
I have recently received a lovely letter and would
like to thank Lee for his kind words and allowing me to share it with you
all.
Dear Harry,
Apologies for not using your surname, but it's your fault.
It doesn't' appear anywhere on the web site.
I was perusing matchstick hobbies on the web and came across
your display. The models you build are truly works of art. That doesn't explain
the reason for my letter.
I wanted to thank you in the most sincere way humanly
possible for the Ground Zero model. It's so nice to know there are people like
you in the world. I'm still in shock, your words and work are most comforting.
