The covers are placed in the soaking tank to allow
the specialised detergents to operate. The detergent we use has been
specifically designed for us to clean most covers effectively.
After soaking for at least 4 hours the covers are attached to a feeding sheet
which gently lifts and and passes the covers through specially designed
cleaning brushes which in conjunction with the detergents scrub and clense
them.
Unlike our competitors, not only have we set the machine to its slowest speed,
thus allowing the brushes time to do their job but we also pass the covers
through the brushes twice.
The covers are then sprayed with clean water jets to thoroughly rinse the cover
of all detergents and the dirty water is drained away.
To finish off the treatment, the covers are dried by gently passing them
through two opposing hot air ducts.
After this the covers are hung up overnight in our heated warehouse where they
can be checked for repairs. This also allows time for the Keddar etc. to be
throughly dried before they are flaked ready for packing and
dispatch. |
