What size marquee will I need?
You should work on the following minimum areas:
- Standing event such as a buffet - 8sq feet per person
- Seated event -15 sq feet per person
The table below will help you decide what size marquee you will need but you
may also need room for a disco or band, a dance floor and catering tables
etc.

How long can I hire it for?
The hire period can be a flexible as you need it to be. We can arrange both
long term and short term hire periods.
Can the marquees be used in the winter months?
Yes, with our powerful heaters and hanging lights, our marquees are ideal for
winter functions.
What surface can they be put on.
Our marquees can be erected on any surface although please make sure there are
no low overhanging branches etc.
Can they be used during adverse weather
conditions?
Our marquees are very sturdy and are made to all the relevent EC safety
standards. We always ensure that they are properly anchored and should stand up
to wind speed of 60mph.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we cover full public liabilty insurance.
Will you need to visit the site prior to
booking?
Site visits are made without obligation, during which your various requirements
are carefully noted and discussed, with practical suggestions given on how to
use available space, whether on grass, concrete, hard-core, tarmac or chipping,
together with general information for your specific function
How can I pay for the marquee?
At 'Lynx' we operate a strict payment policy so that your order will be
processed efficiently, therefore please ensure either:
Payments by cheque - received one month in advance of the event date or
alternatively:
Payments by cash - received when the marquee is being erected - cheques will
not be accepted at this date
