Seen through the eyes of the A.R.P. warden are scenes from an army medical centre, land army girls working on the farm, the R.A.F., Navy, and rationing through the blitz. For those of you who lived through the bombing of the Second World War, you'll know the haunting songs and catchy sing-a-long numbers - and will remember the British sense of humour that kept spirits alive.
